I find it interesting how some pieces of news can hit us harder than others.
And, have you noticed that the news, even if you were expecting it, can hit you in ways you don't anticipate and in ways that often don't make sense?
Tell me it's not just me.
I also pray that I'm making sense.
I received news a little bit ago that has my head spinning. I'm listening to country on full blast (for me--which is actually quite quiet) and I've danced around to a few songs in an effort to blow off some steam, get some exercise, and recollect my mind so I can get some more writing done. But, it's been to no avail. I'm still spinning from the news. My foot might be tapping, but I'm still trying to process what I've learned.
I don't know if it's magnified because my husband's been out of town, the process of moving (and so much to do), the realizing of all the goodbyes and see-you-laters I'm going to have to make... Great. here come the tears. Maybe this is the real issue.
I don't want to go... But, I can't wait for the new leg of the journey at the same time.
I guess I'm all mixed up inside.
Sigh.
